Over his 39 year career in the financial service profession, Scott has made it a priority to not only provide sound advice and great services to his clients, but to actually strive to have an impact on their lives.  Beginning with his first job at E.F. Hutton many years ago, Scott has worked with investment managers, real estate professionals, alternative investment providers, coaching firms and even a hedge fund.  His true passion, however, has always been to help busy professionals become more efficient in their practices…providing great service to their clients while also creating the time in their own lives for what is most important to them…family, faith, community, etc.

Scott began focusing on the CPA profession over 10 years ago, helping to build the Lombardi Family Office and the Advanced Tax Planning Institute.  CPAs, by definition, have the busiest and most hectic schedules…one that oftentimes skewed the work/life balance.  His new firm, Financial Resource Network, is the natural byproduct of his and his partner, Stu Kesselhaut’s vision of helping CPAs address that imbalance.  Rather than having hundreds of clients, and being marginally meaningful to them, Scott has built his business on working with a handful of professionals and having a major impact on their businesses and their lives. He takes great pride in helping busy, successful professionals become more significant in the lives of their most important relationships by showing them a better business model.

Family is critically important to Scott.  He has been married to his beautiful wife, Karen, for 28 years and has 3 amazing children.  Over his career, he has always managed his schedule to be present at birthdays, anniversaries, school functions, his sons’ Little League, high school and college baseball games, as well as his daughter’s golf matches.  The ability to create the time to devote to what’s most important to him has always guided Scott and is what continues to drive him in helping others achieve that as well.
